Fashion Friday: Peoples Choice Awards 2016 Favs & Ummmmmmmm IDKs

January 6th was the People Choice Awards and the celebrities where out strutting their stuff on the red carpet. Some where looking their absolute best and some well.....maybe they should let go of their stylist...but this is all just my own opinion, everyone has one :) So lets get right into it...

The dress is simple and sexy, love the slick back hair and makeup is on point!!!

I love the gold and black and the fit of the dress, I thought she looked amazing :)

This look was one of those looks that the more I looked at it the more I loved it!

Priyanka is gorgeous period and I thought the dress fit well and was just fun!!

She was on the top of my list...She looks beautiful, every Caribbean goddess. I love the hair, makeup, style and color of her dress.. perfection :)

Loved the fit and style of the dress and the makeup was gorgeous.. The tight top knot on the other wasn't working for me :(

These looks just weren't my fave idk what it is, its like the hair isn't matching the whole look idk.. Like maybe if KeKe hair was more softer and not edgy with her lace top and skirt and Carly maybe have KeKe's hair with her dress and idk Vanessa.

Whack Wednesday: My Hair or My Hat??

Ok so lets get right into this. Its winter ladies and if your like me you cant stand being cold. Lucky there are so man cute and stylish hat, scarf and glove combos all over for us to chose from. The only problem is, is that those cutiesty, wutiesty ( that's not a word) wool hats and scarves pull your hair out!! :(. I have seen so many adorable hats out there but always had to debate weather the cuteness meant more to me than my kitchen (old school term: means the hair at the back of your head...now you know :) So the only answer I came up with was just wear the cute hat when I have braids :( but lucky there are so many options now. So there is a few options I want to share with you in case you didn't know already. One choice would be the simple task of wrapping your hair in a silk or satin scarf under your wool hat or even around your neck to avoid the snagging of the wool. Your head might look huge with a scarf under a cap depending on how much hair you have but it will be protected :).. another option would be to invest in a hat and scarf that has a safe material that won't pull on your hair... I usually testing materials on like my coat or other hats to see if they pull the fabric. A long time ago maybe 4 years ago at my old job I came across these great scarves. They are super soft and THE DONT PULL MY HAIR OUT but I'm being a compete duche bag right now because I have no idea what the name of them are or where to find them any more so I'm sorry :( but there great I bought like 4 of them there still great even four years later (pic below) I bought mines from Daffy's a department store that was located on chestnut street (center city Philadelphia) I use to work there, they closed down 4 years ago....I miss that place, they had great ish....Burlington Coat Factory sold similar stuff to us I wonder if they have them.....any who another options I found was so in genius!!! and I'm sure its been around for a long time because I catch on to things sooooooooo late...but I have seen a lot of cute wool beanies with satin sewed into the inside!!! How f'in bomb is that.. I discovered them on the gram (Instagram) and I Have to, Have to purchase like 8 of them lol... I love a good, slouchy Beanies. So the company I found on insta was www. Naturalsis72.com.  They have plenty of different colors and patterns (pic below).. they run between $26 and $30 and to me they are a great option for the winter!!! So I hope this info helped this winter and the important thing is to test different fabrics and find one that works great for you and PROTECT YOUR HAIR BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY. Truth Tuesday: New Year, New Attitude!!

Hello everyone...let me start off by saying it is TOO DAMN COLD!!! In case you don't know I live in Philly and it is 31 degrees outside. For those of you that live in warm areas...you can go to hell..too harsh....jk lol. Any who back to me spilling my guts like I do every Tuesday. So New Years just past and I, like everyone else have a nice list of resolution that I probably only do half of but isn't that just tradition...make a list and not doing a f'in thing on it lol. Things on my list include losing some weight, learning a new language, saving my DAMN MONEY!! In all seriousness I do want to really commit to accomplishing a lot of things on my list. 2015 was interesting... I feel like it could have been so much better but I know for a fact that it was my fault it wasn't. I spent a lot of time worry about things that I have no control over, which lead to me not being productive. When I'm sad, I crawl into a little ball and don't want to do anything and that is never a good thing. I was worrying about what other people think and feel, worrying about where I am in life and the list goes on and on and looking back on it, I was worrying about a bunch of bull sh*&@. My biggest worry in life is getting older and looking back on my life and having so many regrets. This year my main promise to myself is to be a lot more POSITIVE! Keep the negative thoughts out my head and put more focus on things that will make me happy instead of worrying about things that make me sad. Being sad or depressed about things that only I have control over was really foolish. I have full control over things like saving, losing weight, who I let stay in my life...even though that shit is really hard to do.. there were things that I could have done to help those situations and not hurt them you know what I mean... So I am really determined to just keep a positive out look on things and even if its a slow pace to be more productive then last year even trough tough times and not worrying about bs. With my weight I just want to make better food choices , exercise more often and work towards having a heathier life style but not stress myself about it and that's with everything I tend to stress myself out about. I am determined to see the positive side of every situation and every person instead of  picking apart everything that is negative about it or them now and in the future lol... Next year I want to look back on 2016 as the year I hustled harder then I ever have in my life!!!! Thank you for being all up in my business...No I love you guys, this is therapy for me. I hope you all enjoyed and can relate some kind of way. Madly In Love Monday: Rihanna on My Body

Happy New Year People!!! I'm Back!! Bringing you new post for 2016!! I hope everyone had a safe and fun New Years...Me I got sick and fell asleep.....I tried... Any who, lets talk about what I am madly in love with this Monday. I love the holidays not only just for all the great candy, drinks, Santa, family time, getting wasted and forgetting what happened the next day but I also the holidays for all the great sales. a lot of  amazing brands make tons of special gift packages, everything form make up to fragrances at super low prices which is a great price for me. So while I was busy "shopping for other people" I found these wonderful body sprays. Now they weren't some no-named brands they where actually celebrity brand body sprays. What I love about them is that there not your normal watered down body sprays but in my opinion they are just as strong as the perfumes themselves. Now this I love because celebrity brand perfumes can sometimes cost a pretty penny (well more like a pretty fifty) but these body sprays on cost $7 bucks (They are $10 Originally)!!! I said " Well Merry Christmas To Me!" So I got mines for Kmart...I got Rihanna's Rebe'l Fleur and her Rogue Love, They also have plenty more body sprays from your fav celebrity fragrance lines. They are in 8oz bottles, smell great and the scent last for a long time, I cant get enough of them :) So I hope you like this post and thank you reading. Style Star Sunday: Jenny From The Block

My style star this Sunday is the one and only Jennifer Lopez. She is a mother, an actress, a singer, clothing designer and American Idol mentor & judge. I'm also convinced that she may be a vampire because SHE NEVER AGES!! (JK) What I love about her style is she can wear anything and look amazing in it. She can go from Jenny From The Block which is like street style timberland (heels of course), baggy pants, crop top, To Jennifer Lopez which is very lady like princess, To JLO which is like dddddaaaaammmmmnnnnn girl sexy. Along with the fab style are hair and makeup is always on point. I always look forward to seeing her on the red carpet because she never disappoints. I have always been a fan and will continue to be one, not only because she is amazingly talented  but she also is a style icon.
