Style Star Sunday: Dascha Polanco!!

For Style Star Sunday I wanted to feature Dascha Polanco. She is a beautiful and talented actress best known for her role as Dayanara Diaz on one my favorite Netflix series ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK. What I like about her style is that she embraces every curve that her momma gave her. She is not afraid to be bold with her fashion and even likes to spice things up with her hair and makeup. She also is not afraid to show you some skin, she will give you arms, back and legs for days. Strut Your Stuff Saturday!!

Today on Strut Your Stuff Saturday I want to feature @thedivawhitney because her style is simply the BEST EVER! She works her curves in such a fun, flirty, sexy and classy way. I usually just pick one outfit that I love but because her style is soooooo amazing I had to choose three. Whitney you are killing the fashion game :)

Fashion Friday:Fierce, Glamorous, Sexy Women come in every SIZE, AGE, AND COLOR!!!

This Friday I could not jus feature one person because so much Glam was being thrown in my face. Sooooo instead of one I chose three women to feature this week, Tess Holliday, Taraji P. Henson and Mrs. Tina Knowles Lawson. These ladies prove that Fierce,Glamorous, Sexy Women  come in every SIZE, AGE, AND COLOR. I want to call these three a TRIPPILE THREAT because they all are giving me sexy grown women in these pics. First up is Tess Holliday looking gorgeous, like I'm plus, sexy and you all know it in her ads for Monif C. Then you have Taraji P. Henson give you that sexy, fierce, call me MISS. LYONS in her W Mag photo shoot. Last but not least Mrs. Tina Knowles Lawson letting you all know that she is QUEEN in her Ebony Mag photo shoot. What's The T Thrusday: Free Diddy!!!....And He's Free

So This week P.Diddy, Puff Daddy, Sean Combs got arrested!! The original story in the rumor mill was that P-Diddy's son Justin plays football for UCLA. Justin got a full scholar ship to UCLA and football is his life. According to his coach at the school Justin wasn't taking football seriously and deiced not to show up to practices. So the coach Sal Alosi decided that it would only be right if Justin was kicked off the football team since he didn't want to show up and didn't seem like he was taking the game serious. According to a source at the school, the coach exact words were "How about you leave and not come back till the end of the summer." This didn't sit well with Puff Papa AT ALL! and he ask the coach could they speak.Well Allegedly he went crazy on the coach and physically assaulted coach Sal with a kettle bell (the black things you lift at the gym I never go to) and made terroristic threats, take that, take that. (in P.Diddy voice.) Coach Sal pressed assault charges on Sean Combs and he was taken to jail but this is only one side of the story. This happened on the 22nd and since then Diddy has been released from jail and his reps have spoken just a bit about the situation. Diddy's reps states "The allegations are false, any actions taken by Mr. Combs were solely defensive in nature to protect himself and his son...Once the true facts are revealed, the case will be dismissed.".....The head coach at UCLA states: " This is an unfortunate incident..We will let the legal process run its course... I'm sure when everything is handled in court we will be able to know what really happened but until then his family continues to be super supportive posting on the Gram "Family First." Me personal I definitely want to find out what happen because in my head there is no way that Diddy would get his self into a scandal like this, he's a business man and I know he don't want to f' up his brand or go to jail unless it was for something serious. Whack Wenesday: We do have plus size but not in this store??!!!??

What's whack this Wednesday is how many stores carry brands that have plus size clothing but the stores refuse to sell them :(. Now I do have a degree in Fashion Marketing, so I know that from a marketing standpoint, the reason why they don't carry plus size brands at certain location is because a majority of their sells come from smaller size women. Even though I understand it, to me it is still a crock of ish because the bottom line even though the majority of your customers are not plus size, PLUS SIZE WOMEN STILL COME TO YOUR STORE!! One example of this is Kmart. They sell the Joe Boxer brand which I love and Joe Boxer has the cutest line of plus size briefs & boy shorts. If you know their brand then you know their stuff comes in fun, funky colors and prints. Its definitely a step up from the normal "granny panties"  they leave us big girls with but when you go to the store they only have sizes s-xl! Another example is Forever21. Some foever21 locations don't sell plus size clothing :(! Now I love Forever 21 but when I try to go to different locations it's a HUGE disappointment that they don't have plus size clothing available. The same goes for H&M. Like I said before I do understand but at the same time you cannot leave out you plus size customer. Maybe we would buy more if we knew you sold our size at your location. One day (sit down for this, I'm going to tell you a story) I went to New York! This was my first time going so I was super excited. Me and my friends ( the are smaller than me) went into a Forever 21 and the music was bumping and it was so big, I was so ready to find me something. I ask they lady who work there "Where is the plus size section?" Guess what she told "sorry but we don't have a plus size section." All the excitement went out the door and all I could do was wait for the others to finish shopping. Now I know what your saying "A.J you can just shop online" yeah I know, online shopping saved my life but sometimes you don't want to wait however many days, pay for shipping or you might need the item right then and there. Like when I need hosiery and there is no Layne Bryant, Ashley Stuart around guuurrrrrlllll that is the worst experience EVERY! Some stores version of "plus size" hosiery is a joke. Their 2x is the same size has regular size large :(. I am dragging a wagging back there and the tights and stockings available don't even go up my butt. I guess I just have to order the important things in advance because its hit or miss out here in these streets. If anyone out there who is reading this happens to own a retail business please don't ever forget about your plus size customers, we need love too THANKS.........

Truth Tuesday: Love Dont Live Here No More

Hello everyone it is Tuesday and it is time for me to spill my guts out to you guys. I just got back home from work and even though I am thankful to have job in todays economy, I AM SO HAPPY TO BE HOME!!! Sometimes I think "ooooohhhh if only I had a suga daddy" but then I think 1. I'm too independent for that ish, 2. I don't want a man to have that much control over me, 3. I would get soooooo bored just staying home...so suga daddy is completely out of the question. So life update I am like really single now. I was in one of those kinds, sorta, not really single relationships but now its really done (I think, No it really is.) I said what I really felt in my heart and he decided to leave the situation which is what needed to be done anyway. I have learned that it doesn't matter how much you love someday or whatever reason they give you about why they can't be with you, if your unhappy, your unhappy. I never been the type of girl to hide my emotions ever, maybe its the cancer in me, but when something is hurting me or just doesn't feel right I have to speak my mind. It sometimes takes me a while because I always fear that the person will leave but holding it in only makes things worst. I feel honestly like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. When I was "with" this person I always kept asking myself when will I become a priority. When you don't understand why it gives you an insecurity about your self, like what am I doing wrong. The answer, I figured out, is that you shouldn't have to keep asking someone to make you priority! As adults we all have issues, jobs, children, etc....if you really love someone you just make the time for that person, even if its for a few minutes, 1 hour, once a week, whatever the case may be. You should never give room for the next person to come and "move in." I think I am going to chill on the search for love, hopefully the person I am suppose to be with will come find me (don't wait too long lol). There is a lot of things that I want to change in my life and I can't expect a man to have his ish together when I don't have my ish together. Other then that, life keeps moving on. I'm saving, saving , saving which is soooo hard to do. Sometimes I just want to blow the whole thing on clothes, trips and food to be really honest with but then I hear the sweet sound of my mothers voice and I slap myself in the face and say "GET OVER IT, YOUR MOVING!" Also I really want to experience having my own place, I have had a roommate, which wasn't that bad in the BEIGNING but never completely on my own so I am really looking forward to that :) So I hope you like this truth I'm giving you; please FOLLOW, LIKE AND SHARE :) Also I will be posting a video THIS WENESDAY on my YOU TUBE channel A.J MARIE so please go like in subscribe to that :)  One of the major things I want to change in my life is my HEATH! so I will be documenting my whole weight lost journey on you tube so please, please, please go check that out.
