Strut Your Stuff Saturday

Hello Everyone, Happy Saturday! It is finally nice weather consistently here in Philadelphia so I am super excited for the summer time fashion :) This Saturday I wanted to feature @RolyPolyWardrobe  not only does she dress amazing but she also has beautiful hair and amazing makeup. I was looking through her page and was thinking to myself " I would love to raid her closet." I chose one of her outfits to feature today because it is so nice out and I thought this was a perfect causal ensemble...

So how many nice things can I say about this outfit???? The head band with the curls are so adorable, love the orange top with slits in the back gives the basic top a edge to it, I'm in love with ripped jeans and love the gold sandals which adds to the perfect color palette. Fashion Friday: Danielle Brooks

T.G.I.F People! For fashion Friday I wanted talk about Ms. Taystee a.k.a Danielle Brooks. She recently was featured in Glamour magazine where she wrote the most amazing essay about her struggles growing up, life in Hollywood, how she got through the rough times and her hopes for the future. I related to this essay in so many ways and felt it was touching, inspiring and positive. Whats The T Thursday: How Would You Feel If Your Mom Slept With You Man/Woman!!!

Hi everyone who reads my blog (I sooooooo appreciate you all :), Happy Thursday!!! First before I get into the latest gossip, let me start by saying I commend all bloggers who are able to post everyday or how ever many times weekly, consistently, because it is so hard for me. Some days I work and all I want to do is relax, stare at the celling, eat and go to sleep but I really do enjoy doing this, I Really DO :) So I'm going to pick up where I left off. I have a interesting piece of gossip today about the Kardashian's. No not another story about Kylie, her lips fillers and her older man boyfriend/justfriend but about my fave Khole. So as we all know (or some) she use to be married to former basketball player Lamar Odom. They got a divorce and he was acting crazy, doing drugs, started a internet rap career where he rhymed about how he got hoes in different area codes. Anyway its now being reported that "allegedly" there was some fowl play going on between Momager Kris Jenner and Lamar Odom (enter dramatic theme music.) Some gossip site is saying that Kris and Lamar were creeping on the low low when he Khole where filing for a divorce in 2014!! Originally Kris was just a shoulder to cry on for Lamar and then he decided to find out WHAT THAT MOUTH DO THOUGH! Its said that Lamar felt it was wrong and wanted to stop but Mrs. Jenner was like " no Zaddy I need you" so it continued for 3 Months!!! (enter more dramatic theme music.) Now me personally I don't think this is real at all. Not cuz I'm a little obsessed with Khole and I love the relationship that Lamar and Khole portrayed on TV (I don't know them personally) But Khole just seems like the type that would cut that B*&# off from her life in a second for doing some low down ish like that to her. Khole don't play those games. There is also apart of me that hopes Kris wouldn't even think to do something that dirty to her daughter (even though she is definitely a flirt and she love some chocolate on her vanilla sundae, if you know what I mean)....My Question to you is, how would you feel if you mother slept with your former man/women??? For me whether or not I hate his mother f*&@! guts my mother better not lay a hand on my Butterfinger. My mom would never do that and we don't have the same taste and men but if she ever did that to me I would for sure keep my distance, she still my mom so I couldn't really cut her off for good but I would keep my distance because I know what she is capable of.....So what is your answer to this question?? Whack Wednesday: Hair Dye Everywhere But Your Hair!!!

Hey everybody Happy Wednesday! So what's whack this Wednesday is when you want a change in your life and decided to dye your hair, but because you were never a professional to begin with, there is a ring of hair color all over your neck, ears, forehead etc... I deal with this situation often but I have the solution!!! One day I was looking on the internet and found some very useful information. There is a way to remove this unwanted hair color from your skin and all you need is (drum roll please !!) Toothpaste!!! I have used this technique to remove hair color off my skin plenty of times and it really works. All you do is apply the toothpaste (anyone will do) to the parts of the skin with the dye on it, gently rub it in with warm water, Let sit for a few (it does tingle) and them remove with a warm rag. I do use a bit of aggression when wiping and it usually comes right off. It was a miracle, well actually it contains just enough abrasive ingredients to safely remove stains without any causing any harm to your skin. I no longer worry about dying my hair at home:) So I hope you guys found this tip useful and continue to dye your hair any color of the rainbow (side note: remember to always moisturize your hair after dying your hair.) Truth Tuesday: Self Reflection

Hey everyone hope your having a good day :) I am so tired. Work is not hard, I just rather sometimes be in my bed. I'm sure you all can relate. So what's been going on with me??? Well If you have read my blogs before everything in my personal life is still the same, I am still single :( But I have realized (just today lol) that maybe I should take this time and work on getting myself together. I'm not a complete reck but there are things I want to work on like my heath (the healthy lifestyle struggle is real) and just stuff, at almost 30, I feel I should have by now. Still sucks to be alone but I have time to be in a happy and healthy relationship; Bae Is Out There Somewhere! On a sad note my grandmother passed away this Saturday. She was really sick for a long time and even though I am sad, I'm happy she doesn't have to suffer anymore. When someone passes it always makes you think about your own life. In my life I have avoided a lot of things that made me uncomfortable; I have even avoided people. If I didn't see a person in a long time or meet someone new I wouldn't make the effort to call or to keep in contact with them. I would feel weird and uncomfortable because I didn't know them and/or too much time went pass. I realized by doing that "being anti-social" I have missed out on a lot of good times, getting closer to family members and possible good friends. I always say to my self " If I just...." Life is too short to live with regrets and I have to try and do things that are out of my comfort zone, We ALL Should!!!(if your not already.) So on that note I'm going to end this blog, hope everyone is living life without regrets:) R.I.P grandma.

Madly In Love Monday: 2NE1!!!

Hi everyone, happy Monday!!! Its been so long I miss you guys I took a break from blogging because of a work and blah blah blah but I'm back!!........So this Monday, well actually for a while now I have been obsessed with K Pop girl group 2NE1! I'll admit I didn't really pay attention until I heard their song "I Am The Best" on a commercial one day, I just couldn't get the song out of my head. But since then I have been a faithful Blackjack (the name of their fans.) My phone is filled with their music such as Falling In Love, Fire, Clap Your Hands, I love You just to name a few. The girls are from Korea, they started in 2009 and are signed to YG Entertainment. They sing pop/hip hop music, have amazing style and from watching 2NE1 TV on YouTube they have the coolest personalities. Their names are (in order with pics) Dara, Minzy, CL and my favorite Bom. As of today CL (leader/rapper) is working on her solo album, check out her song Baddest Female (its amazing), Dara(the face of the group, so pretty) is doing a bit of acting, Minzy( youngest, amazing dancer) and Bom (the vocalist, so funny) are taking a break but THEY WILL BE BACK and will be working on new music for their fans all over the world including U.S.A :) Hopefully if you haven't heard about them I have peaked your interest, go, be open and check them out! It is amazing how music is so universal. Even though we might not understand the language you can still be a fan and be moved by the music :)
