Now the mid-finger ring is not a "new" thing but I'm obsessed with them. They give me a hippie vibe , if that makes any sense, I love them. My only problem is that a loose them all the time but I with continue to buy new ones. The two stores I buy mines from are Forever 21 and H&M; I Picked a few in placed them in the collage down below(top four Forever 21 bottom 5 H&M). Price are inexpensive and range from $3.95-$5.95 . The gold ones photo on my hand below are from H&M and they were $5.95 and I pray I don't loose these.
