Madly In Love Monday: Revlon Got It Right!

Hi everyone, I know it's Monday but I hope everyone is trying their best to enjoy...I have been out of the blog game for two weeks but I am so happy to return..Sometimes you just need time to refocus YA  DIG! Any who I'm back to what I am Madly In Love with this week?? Well it's no other than the Revlon Ultra Volume Mascara and Eye Liner Value Pack!!! Ladies and Gentleman let me tell you I have been using this product for the last two weeks and I LOVE IT (insert sappy love music.) The Eyeliner goes on so smooth and soooooooo easy, which I love because it takes me 12YEARS to apply eyeliner...With this eyeliner it only takes me a few minutes...I don't know if it is because I'm still a makeup beginner or that's just the normal struggle but its a great product... and the mascara is perfect!. I like the volume it gives me, love the packaging, love that it stays on and doesn't transfer and when I say it doesn't come off, it doesn't come off lol.. Like I use regular makeup wipes (not oil based which I most likely should buy) and it took me a bit of time to get it off which to me is a good thing because I want to keep that "ultra volume" as long as possibly. So long story short I am currently having a love affair with this product...The two products are from the new Revlon makeup line that just came out and I realllllyyyy wanna try the matte lip sticks and the concealer/foundation. Truth Tuesday: Trying To Move On Up To The East Side

Hey everybody, How are you? How's the kids? How that damn dog? great, good! Now what is going on in my life, well at this moment the current mission is to save, save, save. This women here needs to move like asap. It's so hard to save when you still want to just live life. Like I get my check right (which is not that great) and i try to put the same amount in every two weeks...I still have to make sure I take care of the important things like my Netflix Subcription ;)... (I have other bills lol.) After all the real ish is taking care of I'm not really left with much and the money I am left with I have like this "in my head" debate on wether I should just put all of it in savings because what am i really buying but at the same time I see something and I WANT IT! I have gotten to this point if I don't treat myself to a little something, something I'm going to be miserable lol. Now that I am in saving mode I am thinking that I should also start to purchase things for my apartment..like the basics that I need for various rooms. I even started a list breaking down the things I need for the kitchen, bedroom etc..  That way when I do get my apartment all I have to purchase are the big stuff like the couch, kitchen table etc.... Sooo I have a plan in order and I am determined. I might be broke for awhile but I have to admit when you see your savings growing and you see yourself reaching the goal you set for yourself its a good feeling, I feel adult lol. Buuuuttttt lets not get it twisted if I had a better job I wouldn't be having none of these damn promblems..god damn econmy but I'm working hard on that so until then I will work with what I have...Side note have any of you ever wrote down a list of things you need for a house or apartment shesssh.... I was thinking about all the things I use and I was like wow I need a lot, I can't take their stuff or maybe I can, they won't notice lol lol....So that's all the update I have for you today, I hope you enjoyed this post and also hope your having a good Tuesday, I'll see you guys tomorrow :)

Fashion Friday: Rachel Roy....Getting Curvy With It!!

So this makes me sooooooooooooo ooooo excited Rachel Roy has announced that she comming out with a Curvy Collection!! This is just the best news ever because A Lot of clothing lines refuse to show the plus girls like myself some love so this makes me really happy. Sizes 14-24 will be available and she has also stated that "there's not one design you'll see in the curvy line that you won't see in my contemporary collection." Like how amazing is that! The line "RACHEL, Rachel Roy Curvy" will be launching next week on Macy's .com and I can't wait to see the amazing clothing and blog about it :) She probably won't see this but thank you so much Rachel Roy for including us its really appreciated...and thank you so much for reading hope you loved this fashion news as much as I did and I will see you tomorrow for strut your stuff Saturday :) (all info came from cosmopolitan online)

What's The T Thrusday: Blac Rob

So the celeb news is not as poppin this week which is why I didn't post yesterday because I didn't know what to post about lol so in honor of Valentine's day  lets talk about the new love birds Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian! So as much as I thought it was joke, Its really not and to be honest I wish something else was going on because sometimes with the Kardashian it all feels a bit staged, only because the story line of the family and the relationships that they are in are a little to hard to believe like this one. Blac Chyna was with Tyga had a baby (beautiful baby boy), The couple and the Kardash family were all friends taking beautiful paparazzi pics in the part, Tyga and Chyna split, Tyga starts "not dating" Kylie Jenner at 17, Now Blac Chyna is with Kylie's brother Rob Kardashian. Sounds Like a soap opera doesn't it??? When I first saw the arm pic (down below) I thought REALLY out of everyone in the world Rob but ok. They seem to be getting serious, Rob came and picked her up when she got released (Chyna was drunk on a plane and got a bit turnt up) from prison, he accompanied her to her topless photo shoot on the beach and I even saw a report that he has moved into her crib :) TMZ caught up with the BFF Amber Rose at the air port and she confirmed their relationship by saying "I love them together." The reporter then said that the Kardashian sisters don't like this (the relationship), which Amber said "how do you know? did You ask Them?" So maybe they finally are ok with everything??? You know I have been thinking about this, if they make each other happy then gosh darn it more power to them..Its known that Rob was feeling kind of down in the dumbs because of personal things going on in his life, he hasn't really been in the pubic eye and now he is out and about so if she makes him happy and vice verse then more power to them.. but can you imagine how awkward the holiday dinners are going to be. Kylie and Tyga sitting across from Blac Chyna like "so hey girl how you been, hows our son?" What do you say..I am awkward anyway so I would be so quite like "ummmmmm can you pass the bread" lol. Whack Wednesday: The Itch Is Too Real

Hey everyone it is so raining here in Philadelphia...Like it is pouring but the up side to all of this is the SNOW THE IS GONE!!! I appreciated the snow sooo much more when I was younger now I'm just like "why is the devil trying to ruing my life?" Rain sucks too sometimes like when you gotta go to work and waiting for the damn bus that never comes on time...anywho I am getting off topic..What is Whack this Wednesday is when you are feeling you braids, swaying them back in forth, in the mirror acting like a light skinned version of Moesha (maybe that's just me) and then your hair starts itching sooooo bad and you have braids so you cant really dig into it...ooooooohhhhh that is the worst. I don't what it is but no matter if its individuals or a sew-in weave your hair just wont stop itching. As you can tell from the last few pics I posted I am all braided up, I love putting my hair in braids because its a easy day to day hair style, its a great protective hair style, and because I'm transition into natural and trying to workout more so with braids I don't have to worry about my hair sweating out. So even though I love my braids I hhhhaaatttteeee when my hair starts itching...Now I have been getting my hair braid for a loonnngggg time and for the last, I wanna say 7 months I have been braiding my own hair in individuals so I have been using every braid spray there is...so I want to give you my thoughts on three different braiding sprays and then share with you some tips I found the internet....

African Pride

This is the go to braid spray...Smells really nice...pro: it does stop the itch, also it as a a lot of great ingredients in the formula that helps keep your hair heathy..con: it doesn't last that long

Sulfur 8

 I started using this when the itch got way to real, desperate times call for desperate measure...pro: stops dandruff before it evens goes down and does work..con: again doesn't last long, I think the itch came back faster, and it smells eww

 Palmers Hair Oil

This spray is good for braids (says it on the bottle) this is actually my favorite one. pros: It smells sooooo good, it has coconut oil and biotin in it (just to name a few things), it works really good if you spray it directly on the scalp...cons: it is such a small bottle it runs out fast, also it is oil so its oily (duh) watch you clothing!! but I like it.

Oldie but Goodie

I heard a lot of rumors about not using grease, its has to do with the petroleum...but I use it  

, I used it has a kid and it moisturizes my dry hair and stops the itch which are the pros...cons it does "cake up" like when you hair starts itching again the grease can get on your hands and in your nails :( but when I run out of spray I use this until I re-up.

 So over all Palmers is my fav :)

So that was my brief review and experience with braiding sprays but I also looked up some info for all of us online. Truth Tuesday: Heath & Happiness

Hey everyone, how was your day? Mines was exhausting not because work was too hard but I get up super early now to workout so doing that and then going to work..shessh all I wanna do is go to sleep..but Total Divas comes on tonight soooo I have to watch.. Anyway I am working on the next thing on my resolutions list, which is to loose weight. To be honest I want to loose weight because I'm just not all the way comfortable with the way I look. I don't want to be skinny, I love being a thick women, I just want some things to be a little bit smaller so I can feel comfortable and feel good about myself. Also my heath is not the best, I'm only 29 and I feel like i'm 92 the aches and just being out of breath just has to stop. I know that for women, maybe men too as you get older it gets hard and harder to loose weight so I figure it is about time I stop bull sh$#@! and start working on my heath. I'm not doing anything crazy, no fad diet for me. I have decided to cut out bread (bagles,slices of bread, etc) no soda (which is my faaaavvvvooorrriiittteee), no fried food and no junk food...I just started on the 1st so I'm not perfect yet but I'm hoping I get more better when time goes on..like I still love my chocolate especially since it's "that time of the month" (sorry for the t.m.i) but I am proud to say that instead of milk chocolate I eat dark chocolate which is better but maybe one day I'll transition over to a chocolate substitute but one day at time...As I said above I started working out, I walk on the treadmill for 30min at an 5 incline, I don't go too fast 2.5 , just enough to get a good sweat going. One day hopefully ill be so energize after I work out and be one of those people saying "aww man that workout out was great pass me my protein shake." is that what fit people say lol idk but right now all I want to do is go to sleep after. I'm definitely going for a life style change because I do want to live a long life so wish me luck lol..I notice when your not eating the good stuff you get like an instant attitude lol Its like your going through a food detox and you hate everyone lol lol Other then working on my heath, I'm also on a pursuit of happiness. Sometimes in life you get into this routine and I just don't want to keep doing the same thing all time but I know what I have to do to get to my happiness so I just have to keep working hard at it. Sometimes I wish that easy button was real thing lol....... This Monday my #MCM goes to @richking_polo. I looooooovvvveee his green eyes and also his lips. Ladies I know we can all agree he is a handsome man. I can tell you from his page he is 28, can dress really well, sneaker game on point, likes to have a good time and is a proud father. He just had to be my #MCM this week. 

Madly In Love Monday: The More Straps The Better!!

It is the beginning of February and it is time for us ladies to get sexy...V-Day is coming up and the stores are filled with sexy lingerie and there is something I have been in love with for a long time that I just have to add to my sexy stuff section :) So I looked up three different names the harness bra and the cage bra which I believe just have a lot straps and no cups and there is the simple strappy bra with the cup and straps over the chest; well I love them all. I am in love with the strappy look. I think that it looks really sexy and I like how you can wear it with sexy panties for your lover or you can sex up an outfit when you go out for a night on the town...Now I found a couple of variations of these types of bra and they are all for plus size women!!! First place is my fav torrid who has the strappy style for $48.50...

Then I found one at Layne Bryant for $50.50...
